Beautiful hall for events, delicious coffee and cake buffet
Very good home cooking. At the moment there is only reduced operation here. The service is nice, friendly and very careful. We were here for the confirmation dinner it was plentiful and delicious. The restaurant and the hotel have a very well-designed outdoor / beer garden. We'd love to come back on our next visit to Bad Gandersheim.
Had a meeting, friendly service, large bright rooms,
Very nice people and very accommodating, gladly again. The bar was the most comfortable, you can smoke inside. Breakfast also great.
To recommend!
Nice beer garden, nice service, delicious Einbecker
Super nice, insanely hospitable, immediately sympathetic at the first conversation if someone in this area wants to spend a vacation or overnight stay then definitely take the country inn Greene !!!!!
Nice location where you can party well :)
Nice service. Everything tasted good. I can recommend it
Salad with tuna for 13 euros? Sorry that's just brazen. Small turkey steak with fries for 14.50 euros. It was only enough for the small hunger and just too expensive. I don't think I'll come back again.
The food was good but the menu was very clear. Has declined significantly in recent years. Was probably our last visit there.
The only positive thing there were the friendly staff & the hot food I had on these two days. On the other hand, the bed was unbearable ... with the curtains and other objects in the room, which have certainly not been replaced since the 70s, you can live - the mattress apparently hasn't been changed since then! Totally worn out and impossible to sleep there. It was impossible for me to go to work relaxed. In addition to other things - like the toilet flushing didn't work again and again, batteries empty from the remote control, lightbulbs broken and that in the information booklet about the country house some things are apparently out of date, for me the whole thing is worth at most 1 star .. too bad ..
The service was good and the waitresses very friendly. The food tasted great. However, the kale buffet was quickly empty. Even potatoes weren't enough for everyone. Bregenwurst was only added after everyone was supposed to pay a higher price. I've never experienced that before. And that is not possible at all.
Unfortunately, many delicious dishes from the past are no longer on the menu. But the remaining ones are also delicious. The service is also very accommodating.
Beautiful pink bathroom with bath, very large family room, convenient location, good food and drink, you can walk to the tower of Greene in no time and on your way to your next destination!
Neat large family room with space for 7 people. Rooms are very German so a bit dated, very neat and clean. Food and drinks are good and not expensive. We were there on a Sunday evening and then at 10 o'clock the lights really went out and you couldn't drink anything on the terrace or in the bar. Ideal hotel to use as a stopover, there is little to do around the hotel, at least not within walking distance. The ruin of Greene with tower is nice to walk around. The breakfast was also decent and sufficient. Price quality ratio is very good. Costs overnight with breakfast were 140 euros for 4 people.
On the way back from the vintage days in Einbeck hungry. The inn in Greene looked inviting with its pretty beer garden. A look at the menu showed me exactly what I had an appetite for. Home-style cuisine at reasonable prices. Exactly my thing. I found a nice place in the beer garden. I ordered a large speci and a Schnitzel Hawaii at the seemingly friendly service. Very quickly, I had a well-chilled drink in front of me. Later, as a second drink to eat, I ordered my specialty discipline .... a nonalcoholic Alster (Radler). Often I got the answer "we did not ham" .....! Here they showed themselves innovative. I was given a 0.33 liter bottle of non-alcoholic beer and a 0.2 liter lemonade and an empty glass. Radlerbausatz for self mixing - TOP! After a reasonable time the Schnitzel was served. The salad decoration turned out to be very economical, but okay - it was just decoration ;-) The fries would have a bit more salt, but together with the cutlery were pepper and salt delivered - all the best! Otherwise they were crisp and tasty. Now to the schnitzel that was baked with pineapple, cooked ham and cheese. By baking the crusty bread had suffered in some places, but that's normal. The pineapple was juicy, the ham by no means dry, the cheese melted nice and in some places slightly crisp, garnished with cranberries. The schnitzel itself was delicious. It turned out to be two small schnitzel hiding under the pad. Real tender juicy meat as killed by the village butcher and not again when roasting a second time ;-) Just a pity that one hour driving time are home, otherwise I would like more often here.
It was really delicious.

The room was completely adequate for me. The service was nice and the food (veggie) was delicious. However, my room was on the side of the main street, where there is also a church, which let the bells ring every hour. As it was very warm in the room due to the extreme temperatures, the window had to remain open. The night was not very pleasant.

Very pleasant atmosphere great food. Particularly noticeable is the separate smoking area with bar and tables. This is spatially separated so far that the nonsmokers can not be bothered. The service was very friendly and the food was also very tasty actually I can only recommend it unrestricted. Es tut mir leid, ich habe schlecht deutsch . This review is for the hotel portion only. This establishment seemed very nice and from the short amount of time I stayed. I know America has very different hotel standards, so take this review with a grain of salt. I arrived around midnight and had no idea how to get into the hotel because all of the doors were locked and most of the lights were off. Fortunately i called the hotel (I'm glad I turned on Europe roaming) and the nice gentleman let me in. The room I was given was mostly nice but didn't look much like the pictures. It had a very odd feel too it, as if it was someone's home that they needed to rent to me. There were 8+ beds and even a crib. The next issue was that multiple yellow jackets entered the bathroom during the night, making it hard to do anything in the bathroom. The staff was all very friendly, especially since I barely speak any German.
